We find ourselves in a time ripe for bold actions, which are needed now more than ever to
Avant-Garde ?
Because our future is rooted in the past...
The Avant-Garde refers to the various movements from the late 19th century to the 1920s (surrealism, constructivism...) that broke away from academicism, to disrupt conventional thinking and envision a better world..
We also draw inspiration from the heritage of the Enlightenment and its principles of free thought, individual liberties, universal rights, and tolerance, which continue to act as bulwarks against contemporary obscurantism.
In military terms, the vanguards were the troops acting as scouts, positioned at the forefront of battles with missions of surveillance and protection.
Finally, the emblem of the "eye" is rooted in the values of the Club des Cordeliers, one of the most influential action groups of the French Revolution.
It features an open eye towards the future, symbolizing the connection we create between the past and the future, actively uphold the power of imagination.
France, within Europe, has always valued and cultivated imagination. This heritage is evident in art, philosophy, science, and the economic world. Our successes in research, advanced technologies, fashion, and gastronomy all attest to this.
Imagination is a fundamental part of our identity and a powerful catalyst for progress in our societies.
An open, pragmatic attitude to reality, allowing us to look beyond the obvious and imagine new possibilities. It encourages us to approach challenges with curiosity and open-mindedness, turning obstacles into opportunities.
To value imagination is to emphasize the importance of creative thinking in building visions that embody new possibilities for the future.
Imagination is at the heart of the battle to build new narratives that help us collectively project ourselves into the future with strength and optimism,
for it is not only a source of innovation, but also confidence in the face of tomorrow's challenges.
Boldness : we want to encourage atypical, new initiatives that bring new, positive, and impactful perspectives to life.
Diversity : we wish to harness all the synergies between the worlds of the Arts, Sciences, and Techniques, to promote new forms of thinking, and inspire new ways of envisioning the future.
Inclusion : we aim to combat all forms of exclusion and social fracture.
Hopeful activism : without naiveté, this is what gives us the strength to act for a positive effect.
